MS is an autoimmune disease that I believe doesn't receive the attention it deserves. With it affecting people very close in my life it's hard for me to not say that. Currently, there's no cure for MS and the treatment available can only help slow down and lessen the symptoms. There's so much more that needs to be done, let's do it together.
Running has been a part of my lifestyle for the past couple years now and it's really helped me through all the ups and downs, it felt only right that I can use this passion to give back. Starting from the 27th of August I will be aiming to run 5-10km a day, 6 days a week, with the end goal of running 500km in a total of 100 days. I will be updating this weekly as well as posting on a dedicated Instagram account (@harv.runs4ms) to both show data as proof for all my runs but to also share pictures of my runs. As well as the nature that we sometimes miss in our busy modern lives. All the time looking to inform people on MS.

It's important to know where your money will be going and the causes it will be used for. All money, despite originally going to the national MS society, will be sent to the local MS Society for Brighton & Worthing. They do a great deal of amazing work, just to list a few:
1)Bringing local people together to talk and chat about MS (you'd be amazed how many people have MS which you don't see)
2)Pilates in Brighton and Worthing - can help with many of the problems that can arise due to MS
3)partnership with Possability People - helps to provide independent, confidential and impartial advice services for all people with Multiple Sclerosis )
And so much more...

There is no cure, but we offer hope for the future by investing millions in research and help for today through our information, support and campaigning. Together we are strong enough to stop MS.
