HVAC Units Urgently Needed for Pets

The Humane Society for Greater Savannah is desperately in need of donations to keep our shelter pets cool.

•        Our older units can’t keep up with the hot summers and cold winters, so we are installing new HVAC units.

•        Based on several quotes from HVAC contractors, we will need $31,000 to add three ductless mini-split HVAC systems and three air curtains to our dog kennel areas, replace one air-conditioning unit, install insulation/drywall, and add new air ducts to our laundry room.

Please help us provide a comfortable place for our shelter pets while they await their forever homes or recover from medical procedures. Our staff and volunteers have been doing their best to cool the shelter pets with fans and plenty of water, but it's just not enough in this climate.
