"#Hashtaglunchbag is a movement dedicated to utilizing social media to bring awareness to and eliminate hunger in local communities. The movement was born on Christmas Day 2012 in a Los Angeles apartment with just a small group of friends looking for a way to give back. The intent was to simply prepare and deliver food to their local homeless community, but with social media serving as a platform to share ones daily activities, this group of friends quickly found that they had not just fed some people that day, but instead had started a nationwide, now worldwide, movement of charitable acts."

Here in Miami we are trying to bring awareness one lunchbag at a time. We distribute (by previously scouting) to the Miami, Downtown, Liberty City and Overtown area. Follow our journey by heading over to IG: HashtaglunchbagMiami and/or emailing us at [email redacted] for updates.

We are in a State of Emergency due to hurricane Matthew and are raising funds for those who will need the support. Any dollar counts and we are just asking to help us help those who will not be able to help themselves.
