Please help us save our veterans

I find it very sad that so few people are willing to help veterans in need.  But a collage kid can get over 2000 donations for beer money.  Have we really sunk this low as a nation?

Most of my life I've been an active person, martial arts instructor, performer, body builder. About two years ago I suddenly became very sick with a yet unknown illness. My daily activity went from hours to mere minutes per day before I was exhausted. Pain is part of my life now, every minute, every hour, every day.

I lost the ability to do most of the things I loved in life.

One thing that I didn't loose was putting other people before my needs. I'm not asking for help with my life, I play the cards I'm dealt.

A friend of mine committed suicide. I wished I could have done something. A short time ago there was a local veteran that used suicide by cop. While I didn't know this man, it was close by. I was deeply bothered by what I was told. How he was handled with the VA. I thought, why doesn't someone help do something.

That's when it hit me. I'm someone. I have the time. My active life is gone, but I can still help.

So while politicians fight amongst themselves only interested in getting your vote. Spending huge amounts of money while not doing they job they were elected to do. Veterans are ignored. Funding is cut, services are lost. Veterans served this country by putting their lives at risk. When they come back home it is very disrespectful to simply forget what they gave. That is exactly what our Government is doing. This GoFundMe is set up to help veterans by giving them a means to talk about what they are dealing with. To bring the shameful treatment they receive to light. To expose those who have no respect for our armed services. To provide financial assistance when needed.


My abilities may be limited in the physical sense, but not my desire to help others.
