Grayson Huck's Recovery/Rehab Fund

Grayson Hucks is a bright, beautiful 19-year old Myrtle Beach, SC native who was accepted to the Upper Division Nursing program at Francis Marion University starting this fall. A member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority (ADPi), Grayson has been involved with many campus organizations and has made President's List all four semesters at Francis Marion. Unfortunately, Grayson was involved in a 6-car collision on U.S. 17 Bypass on May 20th while returning from her summer internship at Beach Urgent Care. Grayson has suffered a fractured left ulna, a fractured right patella and right tibia, and a fractured sacrum. Among other complications, Grayson is also fighting a head injury consisting of multiple pinpoint bleeding and a hematoma on her right parietal lobe, as well as pneumonia caused by the trauma. Because of her tenacity and fighting spirit, Grayson has come far, and things are looking up! However, the road to recovery remains long and challenging.

Rehabilitation is another battle that she must take on. While options are being considered, Shepherd Center in Atlanta, GA and Carolina's Rehabilitation in Charlotte, NC are among the best in the country and are well known for their work with patients who have spinal cord and brain injuries. We hope to give Grayson the best care that she can receive, but this process is going to take time and effort, and medical expenses are accumulating! Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
