Grauer Elementary Playground

R.M. Grauer Elementary in Richmond is in dire need of a new playground as the existing one is unsafe and beyond repair. The playground is 25 years old and well past its expiry.
The estimated cost of the playground is 60K. Multiple fundraising efforts from the P.A.C and business community are already underway however, this Gofundme’s objective of reaching $10,000 will be an integral component to the project reaching its goal.
The power of play cannot be underestimated. This new playground will provide a space that promotes social interaction, a space designed to meet children’s' needs and a space to help each child grow both mentally and physically. Accessibility will also be factored into the new space. All donations will go directly toward creating this play space.
We urge all members of the community including past students and parents to aid us in giving to a future generation of kids an opportunity to expand their world and have fun outdoors.
