Support Valerie's Fight with cancer

It's with sudden and unexpected knowledge that my cousin Valarie Garcia has been diagnosed with Stage IV Anal Squamous Cell Carcinoma. This is not only a rare form of cancer, it is also often discovered late in the disease and for her case has already spread to her liver. On 3/7/2017 we attended her first Oncology appointment and was handed an abundance of bad, uneasy and forever life changing news. The Doctor stated that this is a terminal condition and that there are very few options for treatment that are available and this would be the cause to end her life, and that we could only try to buy time. He also stated that we could seek a second opinion and do our homework to find clinical studies but that cost would have to come from her own pocket, an expense Kaiser is not willing to assist with. She is a beautiful young 34 year woman how is a loved daughter, niece, sister, aunt, cousin and partner to a man whom I know would marry her if given the time and opportunity. She is a great friend to many and has some that she has been friends with for decades. She loves dogs unconditionally and would rescue them all with the others she has if she could. She not only received this information but was also told she could no longer work, primarily because it has already started to affect her everyday life routine and causes continuous pain. I along with many others are seeking a donation of any kind to financially help with this burden and also to help get her to a higher level of care that can go beyond what is standard and hope for her to not be apart of a static that she can't be cured or be a survivor. Please share this around and also help spread the word In hopes of making people research symptoms related to the awful type of cancer.
