Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
~Proverbs 31:25

Hi!

My name is Aunt Anna. I want to share the story of my amazing niece, Georgia, pictured above...

Our sweet Georgia was born prematurely. Her twin brother passed away shortly after they were born and that day was easily the most wonderful and horrible day of our lives.

We were told Georgia likely would not survive but miraculously she was able to fight through and started to thrive. She was able to come home when she was 4 1/2 months old.

Over the years we have enjoyed watching her grow. She has rarely been sick and has always had the sweetest heart and oh her beautiful laugh is music to the ears!

Georgia has blessed those who know her in so many ways. She plays the harp and piano, she sings, she loves.

Georgia also has been a member of her schools Cross Country Running Team and they just finished their season!

After the last race, Georgia realized something wasn't right with one of her legs so she went to the doctor who wanted to get a scan of it right away to see if she perhaps had a pulled muscle or had a hairline fracture.

When she went back to the doctor to see if she would need a cast, they were shocked to be told it looked like she had cancer.

From that point it was a whirlwind, this young lady who is a Senior in High School and part of the National Honor Society, was told that this relatively minor leg issue was a sarcoma and she may possibly lose her leg.

This was horrific enough news and we thought things couldn't be worse but after more testing it was discovered she has a very rare strain of a very rare cancer and she is at Stage 3.

As you can imagine this would be unimaginable for anyone but a young woman who is just starting her life and considering colleges so she can become a nurse to help others, or study math and music is simply devastating.

Please consider helping this wonderful family. Georgia's medical needs are skyrocketing.

She will need a wheelchair, transportation for that wheelchair, changes done to her home to help her move around easier.

These all come with a high cost and considering that her mother, my sister, has taken a leave of absence as a teacher exacerbates the financial burden being placed on this precious family.

Please show Georgia how much you care. This is the time to circle the wagons and help her remember she is loved, safe, and watched over through this journey.

Her parents need to focus on her and shouldn't have to worry about the financial burdens.

She needs them more than ever.

When her new oncologist asked her why she was there, she stated, "I've got cancer and I want to live."

With your help, this young lady and her parents can solely focus on helping her reach her Christmas wish -

To live.

Thank you so much for your support!

***Georgia's mother will be withdrawing for her. We thank you so much for helping out this precious family during this most difficult time!

Please pray for Georgia's sisters Abigail and Stephanie as well. They are truly Georgia's heroes! God is able to do great things!
