Georgia College Early College (GCEC) is an early college program founded during the 2006-2007 school year. Our program currently serves 216 Baldwin and Putnam county students in grades 7-12. The GCEC program encourages the possibility of attending college to students that might not otherwise have the opportunity and/or means to do so independently. Our students may begin college as early as 9th grade. Upon graduation, our students have earned as many as 37 college credits.
We are grateful for your contributions of $935.00. We are still collecting funds for our 2016 graduates. Our goal is for each student to receive a $250.00 scholarship to attend the college/university of their choice. This school year, we are excitedly looking forward to the graduation of our largest class ever-- 26 graduates!
Our students and their families need the reassurance that their financial sacrifices to contribute annually to this fund will go further than they could ever imagine. To begin this school year with at least $6,500
for our GCEC College Scholarship Fund will support our students' sincere desire and ability to continue their college education beyond high school.
