Dairy Free Ice Cream Shop

In 1997 I fell in love with my Grandpas rainbow flavored ice cream. He would make it from home, sell and give to family and friends. One of my best memories of my Grandpa Frank was being the only grand child to be spoiled with ice cream. From there my love for the yummy dessert only grew. Unfortunately I began to develop an allergy to dairy in my adult life and wasn’t enjoying ice cream as much. One day after indulging in a great nut flavored ice cream from one of my favorite brands, I woke up covered in hives! So that was it for me. 

Early June my coworker Tylar and I were having girls talk about dairy free ice cream and making it at home ourselves. I told her I wanted to go back home to Jamaica and start a vegan ice cream business. That has been a dream of mine for the past 5 years. She then gave me an ice cream maker to test and boom goes the dynamite! First batch worked, then I said, I guess I’m selling ice cream now. 

I began with making plain batches and then it turned into infused vegan ice cream! I make my batches at home and offer free delivery. Jump on the bus, train or an uber pool just to share a little bit of goodness. 

Next summer, I would Love to open up an Vegan Ice Cream shop officially, Frozen Medz. Still offering plain and infused dairy free ice cream as well as vegan treats. Frozen Medz is made with only the cleanest and best ingredients to nourish the body with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants!
