The Greg Buckley Recovery Fund

In early October 2016, Greg Buckley suffered a sudden and traumatic brain aneurysm while visiting family in Florida. Greg was admited into emergency surgery to stop the bleeding and was placed into a medically induced coma. After six weeks in the ICU, Greg became fully concious and his condition stabilized enough for him to move to a rehabilitation hospital. True to his character, Greg exceed the rehabilitation specialists expectations by responding and answering questions correctly in only four days time.  After 30 days in the rehabilitation hospital , Greg's condition continued to improve and he has recently been transfered to a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Jacksonville, FL where he will continue his journey toward recovery.

As a husband, a father, and dear friend we all know Greg to be a man of strength, perserverance and exceptional character. We continue to keep Greg in our daily thoughts and prayers, and we celebrate each victory toward his physical recovery. While insurance may cover some of the expenses incurred, there will still be substantial copays and deductibles (now over two calendar years). In addition, there has been the cost associated with being away from home (Charlotte, NC) and the extended time spent in Jacksonville, FL. All of these ancillary costs will add up and today we welcome you to show your support in the aide of his financial recovery as well.
