Friday's Rescue Kennel Repairs

Friday's Rescue Foundation is committed to saving as many animals as possible. We rescue dogs from high kill shelters and care for them until we find the perfect home. We neuter and spay all the dogs as well as vaccinate, micro chip and give them any medical attention they need while feeding them quality food and giving them lots of love and attention.

Our aging kennel houses between 30 and 50 dogs at any given time, currently the kennel itself is in need of some love and attention. We have multiple runs that are unusable due to normal wear and tear over the years as well as fencing that needs repairs and general maintenance and upkeep.

Most urgently is our kennel drop down doors (one is pictured, it has a gap at the top meaning we cant use this run because the dog would be exposed to the elements). Which we are estimating at 15+ years old. All of them must be replaced within the next year so we don't limit ourselves with the number of usable kennel runs.

The 2nd top item on our list of urgent repairs is our drainage system. We wash down the kennel runs multiple times a day, the time spent maintaining the antiquated system takes away from the time needed to work with the dogs in order to find their Fur-Ever homes.

These 2 huge repairs have a price tag of $10,000. The drop down doors are $175 each with 40 runs being urgent ($7000), 48 total doors that need to be replaced and the new drainage filter system is over $3000. We have volunteers to install both systems, but must raise the money first.

Friday's Rescue Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3, so all of our funding is from fundraising and donations. Everything that you donate is tax deductible and overwhlemingly appreciated by the humans and dogs of Friday's Rescue Foundation.
