The Ahmaad Aspen Helping Hands Foundation is raising funds for residents in the west Grand Bahama district who were affected during the Cat 4 Hurricane Matthew.
From Mack Town, Hunters, Lewis Yard, Pinder's Point and Hawksbill
Where among the most devastated areas with homes completely destroyed on other with roofs completely torn off. Our hearts goes out to residents in these communities as they need our help in there time of need.
Ahmaad Aspen Helping Hands working along with the Bahamas government to bring clean up an Relief to the most affected areas until we can expand more.
We are also going to join forces with the Rotary Club to help with the effort.

What funds will be spent on? The process in which we're working will be a 4 phase process all funds will spent on
1. Food
2. Water
3. Wood
4. Building Materials
5. Cleaning Materials
6. 2 Trailers
7. Generators
8. Rock Sheet
9. Roofing Tarp An Shingles
10. Transportation
The Ahmaad Aspen Helping Hands volunteers will go door to door getting names, date of birth, number of occupants in each home an assess the damage to there homes to determine how much they are to receive from the list of 1-10
After each home has been fully assessed
Phase 2 will commence with the packing of each Relief package to be given.
Phase 3 commence with distribution of each package to homes that were assessed.
Phase 4 the cleanup of each community/ Neighborhood

Ahmaad Aspen Helping Hands helps boys & girls of all ages across Grand Bahama that's in need or have been abandoned. Our organization has raised funds for medical expenses for persons that came to us that couldn't pay for it. No matter what the situation may be Our Helping Hands Is here and ready to the job done.
It is now time for us to rise up and help our brothers and sisters in their darkest time of need. As some Bahamians struggles to get the essentials and rebuild their lives, Helping Hands of The Bahamas with members of the Bahamian community join hands to work on ground providing emergency supplies and support to the devastated people. The rapid provision of vital aid is crucial in saving lives. However, this is only a part of Helping Hands larger vision of helping people in central and southern Bahamas rebuild itself. After the initial needs are met, then comes the long, hard road to recovery.
Now is the time people like us must step up and help—not just in the short term but over time.
