Support "Folk with Matt Watroba"
For many years, Matt Watroba has hosted great radio shows, including "Folks Like Us" on Detroit's WDET and shows on "Sing Out! Radio Magazine" and "Folk "Alley."
Now, he has launched a new radio show, "Folk with Matt Watroba" on WKAR 90.5 FM and streamed on wkar.org on Sundays, 6 to 8 PM. WKAR's broadcast range extends from Flint and the Detroit suburbs to Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids.
The Ten Pound Fiddle, a Mid-Michigan-based concert and dance series, has agreed to become an underwriter for Matt's show for the coming year for $5000. We are thrilled about this. However, our operating budget does not have an extra $5000 in it, so we are asking the folk music community to partner with us on this underwriting adventure.
We have a goal of $5000 to support Matt's show through September, 2018. Any additional funds in this campaign will be used to underwrite the show in future years.
All donations will receive our immense gratitude and a receipt for your donation. The Ten Pound Fiddle is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) organization, which means that your donations to us are tax deductible.
Folk with Matt Watroba is an incredibly entertaining, high quality program. We hope you can help keep this show on the air.

Thank you, very much!

Dear Donors: Donors who gave in 2017 should have received an official donation receipt from the PayPal Giving Fund, which is an official charity and thus your donations qualify for tax purposes. I am not clear if this also applies to donors who gave in 2018, as I am not clear about the provisions of the new tax laws. For questions, contact the PayPal Charitable Giving Fund
