Make these kid's dreams come true

Welcome to Our Go Fund Me Campaign. We are a team of inventors, problems solvers, innovators, and thespians. We are the Floundering Four. We are the Randolph Vermont Destination Imagination (DI) Middle aged team. We are a team of 8-10 year olds that participated in this year state Destination Imagination challenge. For those of you unfamiliar with DI, it is a worldwide program that challenges the imagination of the world’s youth. DI gives us categories of projects that we can choose from each year so that all teams have the same issues to try to solve in their category. This year we selected “In Plain Sight” for this project we had to come up with a story about camouflage in animals, next we had to make props for a play that we had to put on in front of the judges and we had to think of how to make props out of items so that they would look like they were able to camouflage in different parts of our play. We had a lot of fun and came up with what we thought was a great project.

We took our project to the Vermont DI state finals, where we took 1st place in our category for our age group. We earned a perfect score 30 points out of 30 points. Our project also earned us the Da Vinci Award, This is DI’s most prestigious award for innovation and creativity. This first place win also comes with the ability for our team to go to Global Finals and compete up against all the first place teams from around the world. This trip would be from May 25th - May 28th in Tennessee, so we need the funds by My 15th. Our team has decided that we would love to be able to take on this opportunity. However with a price tag of close to $8,000 we need your help to get there. The funds will be used for our travel expenses, lodging, entry into the event and meals. Please donate to our team so we might be able to have this opportunity. In addition to this Go Fund Me Campaign we will also be doing local bottle drives, and hopefully a few bake sales, but in such a small town like Randolph it might be hard to earn this type of money for such a worthwhile trip. The appraisers who awarded this young team the trophy wrote” From the first foam figures and the flirtatious fun poetic introduction, The fabulous Four Flounders were freakishly awesome and Flawless. The science was fantastic and the performance exceeded all elements of the Challenge. The colorful and complex undersea set and props were outstanding in detail from afar and up close.This was truly exceptional ,earning a perfect score from all four appraisers”
