Floor 27 - The Musical
Donation protected
Hello, All!
I am thrilled to tell you about a special project I have coming up. I am doing a workshop and public reading of a new Canadian musical, written by John Arnold (PEI) and Mike Paterson (NS).
Floor 27
Synopsis:
"Lithcoe Balcombe is chosen to make the break: to leave the inner-city office of his corporate aspirations for a position with the parent organization, which turns out to be a covert global movement committed to undermining ambition, oppression and coercion wherever it is found: The "Bureau of Inefficiency".
At the Bureau of Inefficiency, Lithcoe meets his handlers: Mort and Maud, the bureau's founder and Philosopher Queen; 'Whammy Mammy"; and the love of his life, Marjory.
Freed from the need to prove himself, he discovers himself and commits his life to Marjory and the unlimited scope for his talents offered by the bureau's mission: that we all might find the same joys in a life of self realization, rather than chasing after the illusory rewards provided by the flawed designs of systems devoted to greed and power."
Floor 27 is a timely, musically rich celebration of humanity's enduring inability to stick to the plan, and the folly of expecting that we will.
I would love for you to be a part of this, and your donation will ensure we can present this workshop to an audience and get some valuable feedback.
