Just a Mom Fighting Again!

My name is Cindy and I have had an ongoing fight with Stage IV Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Cancer which has metastisized to my liver in 2010.  It started in 2008 and after 3 major abdominal surgeries and over 4 years of chemotherapy which I still receive monthly, everyday is a battle.  I have come to another crossroads as my cancer has decided to show it's aggressive side once again and I will be having my 4th major abdominal surgery in 4 years on February 10th.  I have been blessed with amazing family & friends but even more so, the 3 most amazing kids.  Cancer has taken many things from me.  The hardest thing for me to lose is my financial independence and the need to ask for help from a village of people.  I currently still work and have so for the same company for 28 years but having an incurable cancer does not give you a break when it comes to medical bills, time off work on short term disability, all the tests and medications that I can't even begin to count.  It has caught up with me and this recent news only adds to the already stressful situation   Any money raised will go to helping make ends meet during my upcoming months off of work recovering as well as already incurred medical bills (including my deductible) and the many more to come, as well as my ongoing chemo treatments.  I am going to do whatever it takes to fight against this disease.
Eyeryone is fighting their own battles and for that reason, it is hard for me to ask for help and I can only dream of the day that I can start giving back in not only the small ways that I try now but in really huge ways in the future.  I have won many battles against this cancer but I have absolutely not won the war....YET!!!   I am just asking for help along the way even if it's just a prayer during your day <3
