This is all for Scott Junkin. Thank you for coming here to support him and his family through this new and challenging period in life. Scott and his beautiful family of 5, being his wife, Kelly, and busy/active smart children, Ian, Camille and Reid, all need our help, love, prayers and support.
As you most likely are already aware, Scott just recently noticed some physical symptoms which have, in very short time, resulted in the diagnosis of a brain tumor (very likely an aggressive pontine glioma but possibly a lymphoma) in the pons area of his brain which is cancerous. We, the family, have set up this site to help collect funds which will be needed for the Junkins for medical and treatment costs, travel costs to and from tests/treatments, home assistance and everything otherwise as they move through this journey.
The current plan of attack is chemotherapy every 2 weeks and radiation for 5 days a week for 5 weeks, which will mean many trips back and forth to St. Louis and, with Scott's physical symptoms increasing, also little (or no) time and energy for all the every day things of life.
Taking things day by day, we are gathering and helping coordinate the support of all of us who have been touched by the friendship, love and goodness of Scott and his family. Scott, as your father, family, friend, neighbor, coach, co-worker, fellow Alabama super-fan or otherwise, needs all the strength and support we can provide, so thank you!
