Felvie Life Shouldn't Be So Rough

As many know Mason has had it rough since I found him. However Thanksgiving Weekend he started having bloody mucous nose discharge that was accompanied by labored breathing, hard swallowing, and decreased energy level. Since then he was treated by ER clinic Blue Pearl, started on Clavamox, followed up by vet and provided 3 days of nebulization therapy, blood work, mucous culture, and started on Enrofloxacin. He has improved in the following ways; improved breathing, increased appetite, increased energy levels, and less bleeding. Despite improvements bleeding and mucous has not stopped. Today he had a follow up to a follow up where they discussed bloodwork results which was normal, mucous culture results which showed Pasteurella Pneumotropica bacteria. Vet has decide to give him 3 more days of nebulization treatment and restart him on 2nd treatment of clavamox and enrofloxacin. Todays bill came up to $155. Due to him having discharge from one side and not both nostrils and the continued bleeding we have to start fundraising for a nasal flush and get some nasal tissue/fluid samples and explore if he may have any nasal polyps. The quote for this is $577. So here I am again fundraising for Mason. Thank you to all who continue to believe in giving him a chance at life.
