Forgotten Realms Fire Relief

Donation protected
Forgotten realms is a houseless community in the 2700 block of North Kerby Avenue. This Monday the 5th at 6:30 am the tiny home of Heidi and Larry caught fire after their stove malfunctioned while making coffee. Their tiny home caught fire, all of their belongings within it- including their pet Chihuahua Bebe. Though news outlets are reporting no injuries, Heidi was hospitalized for second degree burns from the fire. Heidi and Larry are in their 60s, in poor health and in desperate need to find a new housing situation.
An adjacent tiny home belonging to Sydni and Daniel caught fire from Heidi's home. This houseless couple in their 20's lost everything but the clothes on their backs and their two dogs. They too have nowhere to go after this fire.
Despite the Portland Fire Department ruling the incident to be an accident, resulting from stove malfunction, these four residents were not allowed to stay in the camp anymore.  City government had banned them from spend another night in Forgotten Realms, which they helped form and lead. The Red Cross put them in a motel for a few days.  After this stay ends they will be back our on the street with no belongings, nowhere to do and they won't be allowed to return to the camp.
Please help Steve Kimes with Anawim Church support these two houseless couples in replacing their belongings and helping them find a new housing situation.
