Improve F.I.D.O. Dog Park
Hello!
We are raising funds to improve F.I.D.O. Dog Park, located under the Johnson Street bridge in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. The park is a 2.5 acre, fully fenced-in area that has small breed and large breed areas. The land is currently owned by Alliant Energy who allows the City of Fond du Lac to operate and maintain it as a dog park. Because the City does not own the land, any and all improvements must be raised from community members.
The funds raised from this campaign will be used to purchase 3 six-foot benches and 2 eight-foot tables that are coated in a weather-resistant material to prevent fading, cracking, and breaking. The wooden and plastic benches currently in the dog park are wearing and now pose a safety hazard.
Our goal is to make this park a fun, safe, and beautiful place to spend time socializing your dog. We want this park to be as maintenance-free as possible so we are investing in some of the best outdoor equipment.
We have a big long-term vision for the park which includes adding a water feature & water fountains for drinking (pets & humans alike), agility training equipment, and "beautifying" the park with safe, non-toxic perennial flowers. This first step - obtaining funds to purchase tables and benches - is one of many. We hope our vision for the park will inspire individuals to donate to our cause.
We thank you in advance for any dollar amount you chose to donate. If you have questions or want to reach out to us for any reason, please contact us at:
