The struggle for civil rights has always been a contentious one in the south. LGBTQ rights are no exception and we need your support.
We are a tri-state LGBTQ Advocacy Group based in Dothan, Alabama.
Equality Wiregrass is working diligently to bring full equality to the Wiregrass area of Southeast Alabama, Southwest Georgia, and the Northern Panhandle of Florida by advancing LGBTQ rights through Education and Advocacy.
Founded in response to the Alabama Marriage Equality Struggle, Equality Wiregrass continues to inform the public on discrimination, provide assistance to victims of discrimination, and promote meaningful conversation of LGBTQ rights.
We are currently raising funds to incorporate as a Non-Profit 501(c)(4) Social Welfare Organization.
Contributions to Equality Wiregrass are not tax-deductible, according to Federal law, since our work includes lobbying and political action.
