ENABLE A DISABLED CHILD

Every child irrespective of their disability, shape or form or their socio- economic must have acess to free compulsory and quality education (UNESCO). Most disabled children in Nigeria almost 90% are not able to acess education (UNESCO). There is still a lot of stigma associated with disability in Nigeria, the reason why there is no targeted support for our disabled peersons. In view of these challenges and marginalization faced by these children, I , Mrs Grace Abimbola Alexander, CEO Star Children Development Initiative (www.starchildreninitiative.org) is raising an appeal. Star Children Development Initiative is a Not-For-Profit organiation that promotes humanrights and Inclusion of children with disability. We also provide practical and sustainable solutions to the challenges face by disabled children. The money raised will be used to purchase assistive devices such as Wheelchairs, Crutches, Braille Typewriters, Braille Textbooks, White canes, textbooks and help towards the payment of school fees for our disabled children
. This campaign aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Goal 4 #LeaveNoOneBehind. Your donation will enable a disabled child to access quality education which will improve their life chances. Lack of education is linked to poverty and hunger.
