Emergent Situation - Large B-Cell Lymphoma

Donation protected
Rick was diagnosed with a resistant strain of large B-cell lymphoma. He has been referred to MD Anderson and completed their testing this week. Rick and his wife Michelle (the love of his life) learned today that their health insurance may not cover treatment at MD Anderson.

The treatment plan, as of now, includes high-dose intensive chemotherapy immediately followed by stem-cell transplantation.

Rick and Michelle would need to spend a minimum of 2 months at MD Anderson which is over 150 miles one-way from their home. Without treatment, the doctors told Rick he would have two months to live.

Why should you donate?

Because, it matters!

If a life-saving treatment is available, then Rick (and all Americans) should have access to that treatment. Help us fund his treatment.

Please see attached for a picture of Rick and Michelle. Myself and another friend asked Rick and Michelle, separately, to supply us with 16 words they would use to describe one another. We took those words and created Bingo cards. They were presented with these cards on July 8, 2019.

Despite facing a life threatening illness, the love they have for each other lives on. It matters and God Bless America!

Through the free space of gofundme, we all have an opportunity to play a part in making a difference. BINGO!

All donations will go directly to Rick and Michelle and be used only for medical treatment, travel and lodging expenses. I thank you for your consideration and generosity.
