"APRIL" - Urgent Medical Case at FDR!!
An urgent plea for help came in today via pm to Fureverhomes Doberman Rescue, Inc. regarding a female Doberman who was dumped on someone's property near Chesterfield, VA and left to die. April was immediately taken to Animal Wellness Center in for treatment and FDR has stepped up to do everything possible to save her life. At this time do know she was covered with ticks, emaciated and was so weak she was unable to stand on her own. Her blood work has shown she is anemic, and x-rays have shown her stomach has bloated and has twisted, requiring immediate surgery if she has any chance of survival. April is in surgery right now as we put up this fundraiser. Her organ function was normal, and her clot test was good, however we have further concerns with her black stool, there may be additional underlying issues we will not know about until April is in surgery. Our estimate is $3400 to $6800 and we are only able to do what we do for the Doberman's in need because of gracious folks like you. Please consider a tax deductible donation for April and show her that her life does matter!
