Emergency Medical Support for Bud Mulligan

My father, Bud Mulligan, has been a hard working man all of his life. He is an Army veteran, a husband, father, and grandfather. He would give you the shirt off his own back. He has always been the first one to jump in and help others. This time he's the one who needs help. I am reaching out for that help from loved ones, friends, family, and strangers.
My dad has worked as a truck driver for many, many years. In the early morning hours of April 27th he was finishing his shift when he knew something was terribly wrong. He managed to pull off the road, dial 911, and give his location. (That is all he remembers) When he was found he was on the ground outside of the truck, completely unresponsive. He had to receive chest compressions and be shocked back to life. Once he arrived to the hospital they got him straight to the cath lab where they found a complete blockage. They were able to put stents in, they set him up in the CICU, and started lowering his body temperature to 89 degrees in hopes of preventing any further brain damage from lack of oxygen. Fast forward...he has now been rewarmed, extubated, and even moved to a regular room!!! He had a massive heart attack, what the doctors referred to as
'the widow maker ' and SURVIVED! All doctors and staff have deemed him a WALKING MIRACLE! They have repeatedly told him he shouldn't be alive today!! God took care of him! God isn't finished with my daddy yet!!
I am asking for help because unfortunately he had JUST started this new trucking job, and his medical insurance wasn't going to be effective until July. So, at this point he is a self pay patient. With the extensive amount of care he has already received, and what care is still to come I am praying that donations will be given.
ALL funds will go directly to him and his financial needs. He has a long road of recovery ahead. An entire lifestyle change. He'll have to be on daily medications, but praise God he is here to talk about it!!! Anything donated will make a difference, and you will be blessed for it!!!
