Elk Ridge Assisted Living Center

September 13, 2018 Our residents were forced out of their home by a mandatory evacuation due to Pole Creek Fire that was reported at 101,423 acres, with the Bald Mountain Fire at 18,596 acres. We were re-homed into the Quality Inn in Payson Utah for 9 days during the evaluation. While we were there multiple kind hearted people approached us offering to help, we declined with the thought that the insurance company would help. After a month of waiting and fighting, the insurance company decided that because the fire wasn’t within a mile from the facility itself they will not cover anything. With the hotel rooms, staff, and things like meals and supplies we are now asking for the help that we politely declined. We have used up our emergency money due to the enormous fire and now we ask if you can to please help, if not could you please share! A huge thank you to everyone!!
