Eliot Moran Worden College Fund

Eliot was born in late September 2012. I can readily recall the how excited his father, Jake Worden, was at the prospect of fathering a child. He had taken classes on pregnancy, he had read books about fatherhood and parenting, and you could hear in his voice the love of a father who wanted the best for his child.

Jake's life was tragically cut short just a few days after his son Eliot was released to his home from the hospital. He died of natural causes at the age of 38 years. Eliot was born a little earlier than expected, a blessing unforeseen that allowed father and son to bond - if only for a little while.

Jake was a dedicated, generous, and caring man who touched many lives with his laughter and kindness.
