A MASSIVE VISION + A MISSION TRIP
In September 2016, a group of 12 from Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC will be traveling back to Guatemala in an effort to provide much-needed food, clothing, and resources to the indigenous people of Guatemala. We'll also be providing financial assistance to many people in emergent situations.
We've discovered a local church in the area that seems to be gaining momentum in the community they occupy. The church currently has hundreds of people attending weekly services and the pastor's messages are featured on over 60 local radio stations. This local church is a massive movement of God and they're already changing so many lives.
With the experience that many on our team have with empowering the local church, one of our specific goals will be to equip and inspire this church to take what they've started to the next level. We'll be providing practical assistance, guidance, and training to the church's staff and volunteers. We'll help them strategically plan to move to the next level God has prepared for them.
Other major goals of the trip include providing resources to local villages and supporting our long-time partner, Casa Aleluya, a home for impoverished children. We also want to position our team financially to be able to move wherever the Holy Spirit leads us.
All Of This Can Only Happen With Your Help
We'd like to invite you to support the great people of Guatemala and the great organizations that are already changing so many lives. To ensure that we position our team in the best manner possible, we've set a goal of $1800 per person. This would ensure we have the opportunity to provide assistance to all of the people and organizations we've identified in our plan.
We ask that you prayerfully consider a financial donation of any amount. However, if you are unable to support our team financially, we'd ask that you join us in praying for each of these organizations, the people of Guatemala, for the safety of our team, and above all else that we'd have the opportunity to make an impact so much bigger than ourselves.
