El Salvador July 2015 Mission Trip

Dear Friends and Family,
I am so excited as I will be going on my very first mission trip this summer!
Who: Me! I'm on the right in pic below :)
When: July 21-31
Where: El Salvador
Partners: Trabajemos Por La Paz, Central American Mission (CAM), and Love and Hope Children’s Home
Purpose: El Salvador is under the control of two street gangs. However, God is at work in redeeming the lives of current gang members and in preventing children from joining. In the early stages of our partnerships in El Salvador we are excited to support partner ministries dedicated to the Gospel working in gang prevention and intervention, reaching public schools, serving the poor on remote islands, starting churches, and caring for orphans. Salvadorians are hungry for the truth of the Gospel as evangelical churches have experienced major growth during and after the Salvadorian Civil War.
Financial Goal: My goal of $1,650 has been met!! Please consider making a general contribution to the team, which will go to those who haven't raised $1,650 yet.
Ways to Give:
1) Go to http://www.mcleanbible.org/serve-serve-globally-short-term-mission-trips/give-global-missions Then click on “Donate Here”, create an account, then select “GI - Tysons El Salvador 2 (Gangs)", then type "General Anonymous" at bottom of form.
2) Mail a check: Please make out check to "McLean Bible Church" also the memo must read "GI (Tysons El Salvador 2 gangs - General Anonymous" Then e-mail me or private message me on Facebook and I’ll send you my address.
If you cannot donate at this time, then I covet your prayers for this trip! Prayer points would be safety and health of all team members, that our hearts would be changed through this experience, and of course that the people of El Salvador would be forever transformed by the Gospel!
