Eddie Delahunty is preparing to run the LA Marathon, to raise money for PROUDFATHER & SHRINERS HOSPITAL. With no professional running training or history beyond 4 months.

As someone who's be through all the ups and downs that life has to offer, from being a smoker since 14, breaking his back in 4 places, and now pushing through each run everyday to lose 60 pounds. Ed has dramatically changed and shifted his life to a new elevation.
His motivation to wake up every day, is to inspire anyone and everyone to love the talent they are and let it support them, and willingly entrust everything into their passion, so they can make their ways through life, as no one's master and no one's slave.
In honor of his committement and dedication, he would like the proceeds for the 26.2 mile LA Marathon to go towards two non-profit charitys that lay a direct impact in his life. Children are th future. This is for education, health, and well being of children.
PROUD FATHERS is a Los Angeles based 501C3 non-profit organization. They're mission is to uplift the youth between ages 9-18 by developing their confidence through fitness, mentoring and spirituality.
SHRINES CHILDRENS HOSPITAL
Los Angeles is a specialty hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and rehabilitative care to children up to age 18 with orthopaedic conditions, burn scars, and cleft lip and palate. Patients receive all services in a family-centered environment, regardless of the families' ability to pay.
