Our Story
27 students from 15 different countries have come together in the Master of European and International Studies to gain a better understanding of the world around us and competencies in economics, finance, law, management, and political sciences.
Our Dream
For the second year of the Master, these students have the wonderful opportunity to participate in an immersion seminar in Brussels. The three-days seminar in Brussels is planned to strengthen the students' theoretical knowledge of European Institutions: the European Parliament, the European Commission, and if it's possible, the European Union Council. It completes a required course, which is given by experts and civil servants from the European Union.
Our Problem
As this is a required seminar for students of the Master to participate in to pass the year, it is of utmost importance. Unfortunately, all students are expected to use their own funds for transportation, accommodation, and meals during the three days. For some students, this is a much larger expense than what they can afford.
That is why we are asking you to help the students of the EIS in this life changing journey to a further education.
Our Plan
Any money donated to this cause will be put forth in use for Flixbus/Ouibus tickets (most cost effective means of transportation) and arrangements for accommodation for 2 nights. This will allow students to focus their time and energy on the educational seminar instead of financial worries.
The students of Master EIS greatly appreciate any and all help given, even if it is just words of encouragement. We will be documenting our time in Brussels to share with everyone the progress we are making in our educational journey.
