Send Teams 5795 and 731 to Worlds!

Donation protected
We are a group of 26 high school students from the Early College at Guilford in North Carolina who are passionate about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. We have focused this passion into building a competition robot for the FIRST Tech Challenge (www.usfirst.org) competitions and our teams are known as Team 731 "Wannabee Strange" and Team 5795 "Back to the Drawing Board" (www.ecgrobotics.org).

On March 25th, we advanced from the Southern Super Regional competition in Athens, GA to the World competition in Houston, TX. The competition is April 19th to April 22nd, and we need to raise funds quickly for our team to fly to the competition minimizing time away from school. This is the second time Team 5795 has progressed to Worlds, and the first time Team 731 has progressed, so we are very excited! The total cost for the 23 team members wanting to attend is $25,560. This includes registration fee, pit build cost, airfare, food and lodging for the 23 members attending. We have been working hard to be able to attend and have received $5250 in donations to date. Thank you TE Connectivity, Burns Farms, and Coca Cola for your donations to help us get started!

All donations are tax deductible since we are a non-profit robotics club with a 501(c)(3) designation. We greatly appreciate you learning about our story and about the FIRST Tech Challenge competition. Any support that can be provided to help us go to Houston is appreciated.
