Drop the Puck on Cancer -- Miami

Donation protected
Drop the Puck on Cancer is a philantrophic competitive hockey event, which was created in 2011, by the Sigma Chi's, Beta's at Indiana University along with local attorney, Carl Lamb.

Drop the Puck started as a rivalry game between the Sigma Chi's and Beta's. Over the past 5 years, the event has grown to 10 Fraternity Houses, 5 Games at Indiana University, but still remains a fundraiser for 1 cause -- American Brain Tumor Association.

During 2015, Collegiate Charities, the promoter of Drop the Puck events, reached out to other parts of the Midwest and formed several other Drop the Puck type of events at the Universities of Minnesota, Michigan and Missouri.

This year, in 2016, Drop the Puck on Cancer has expanded to the University of North Dakota, DePaul University, Northwestern University and Miami (of Ohio).

This will be our 3rd year at Miami, which is a school that is rich in the history of competitive hockey.  The students at Miami have shown a strong desire to make this event one of the top philanthropies on campus.
