Heidi is now in Month Sixty-four fighting Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. Her original diagnosis, Stage 3 Breast Cancer was discovered in August 2007. Heidi's Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer spread from her right breast to her left breast, bones and brain. Most recently, it has now btraveled to her lungs. Heidi began fighting this new lung metastasis in March. Now on the third round of a clincal trial, the treat has exhausted her. The protocal has changed from treatment once every three weeks, to treatments every week for three weeks. Followed with a two-week in between each round on three weeks. This protocol is effective, but draining. The inoperable tumor, in Heidi's Coccyx, is sadly not being helped by the clinical trial. This new diagnosis was made in April, 2014. Over five years ago. Alternative treatments have been explored, with no viable effective treatment in the United States. This includes Chemotherapy, shots, various teas, protein-based foods, and an alternative treatment, for which two trips were planned, but not executed. After the second attempt, it was brought to our attention, it  would most likely had caused seizuers. Someone, high above was looking out for Heidi. Heidi's cancer has reached the base of her skull, neck, shoulders, down her spine to her pelvic area. She also has an inoperable tumor in her Coccyx. In July, 2016 Five Brain Tumors were discovered, and have now recinded. A recent MRI confirmed that the Brain Tumors are still recinded. But, the MRI revealed, that the spects have grown a bit, which confirms a need to change her protocol to different Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, shots and the like. It was this discovery, that lead to the cancellation of this trip. If they resurface...which is why time is of the essence. The preparation for the two trips, in 2016 was to send samples to labratories in Greece and Germany. It is in these countries, that these samples were broken down to such specifices, that Heidi began to do more research about alternative treatments in Germany. These treatments target metastatic breat cancer by using stem cells. Unlike the United States, these treatments are only available in Germany. (exhausted breath sounds-corrupt lobbiests and big pharma are blocking life-saving treatment!)  From  this campaign's beginning we asked for $125,000.00 to cover long-term costs, especially with only one income. A trip to Germany for treatment and expenses is estimated at $50,000.00. This is on top of the more than $23,000.00 that you have benevolently donated for more than 43 months. We could not have gotten this far without your help, kindness and generosity! Please give whatever you can. If you can not afford to give, please "like, "tag" and "share" our campaign. We are on Facebook, Twitter and have friends, who are on our email list. This will help spread our story to others, that could financially help us meet our goal to get Heidi to Germany! This treatment could help Heidi live a more fruitful life without pain and disease. God bless you! We hope that you are always happy and healthy! Huge hugs, Heidi and Mark
