Disc Golf Course at Newton-Conover

This gofundme is for the Newton-Conover Middle School PE Department to raise the funds needed to build a disc golf course on our campus.   The Newton-Conover Disc Golf Course will be used for educational purposes in Physical Education class by each of our 650 students.   Outside of school hours the course will be available to the public to come play disc golf.  This course will not only benefit our students at Newton-Conover, it will help bring Newton-Conover and the community together.   

Disc Golf is a great lifetime activity that ANY individual can participate in.   Participating in lifetime activities like disc golf greatly reduces the threat of obesity and heart disease.  Physical  activity also reduces stress leading to an overall healthier life.   With obesity and mental illness on the rise in our country, our school and comminuty need Disc Golf to bring us together to live healthy lives.  Please consider dotating to this  cause.   Helping us build this disc golf course will help our students,  our community, and help  promote the sport of Disc Golf.

The funds raised for this project will be used to purchase disc golf baskets, which are about $400 each, and tee box posts/signs.  Discs will also be purchased for the use of our students.  All donations will go  to the school for this project.  If you can not afford to make a monotary donation but would like to help out cause, we will gladly accept used Discs!
