DigCitSummit Student Scholarships
Donation protected
Help provide free registration ($100 value) for 25 students (ages 10-18 or college age) to participate in the 2017 DigCitSummit (November 2-3 in Provo, Utah).
Too often, adults get together and talk about kids' lives without including kids in the conversations. At the 2017 DigCitSummit, we want youth perspectives to be an integral part of the two-day event. Especially when we are talking about living in a digital world, we need youth perspectives.
The 2017 DigCitSummit will not be your regular conference; most of the event will focus on engaging, interactive roundtable discussions, so student voices will be heard.
Your donation will help youth have an opportunity to discuss and co-create ideas around what it means to #UseTech4Good.
We use the metaphor of ripples in a pond to talk about how technology can be used for good. Our sponsors' donations will also have a ripple effect for good! Every donation helps, so we are grateful for even the smallest of donations.
"Every Pebble Counts" sponsor: $10-$499
Benefits: Organization or individual will have their name included on the Summit program and website
"Ripples" sponsor: $500-$999
Provides 5 scholarships
Benefits:
- Logo or name on printed marketing materials and Summit program
- Social media mentions
- "Virtual booth" space on Summit website (includes name/logo and 100-word bio/description and reason for wanting to support the Summit).
"Stone Skipper" Sponsor @$1000+
Provides 10 scholarships
Benefits:
- Logo or name on printed marketing materials and Summit program

- "Virtual booth" space on Summit website (includes name/logo and 100-word bio/description and reason for wanting to support the Summit).
- 1 free Summit admission for every $1000 donated
Notes:
- Funds will be managed by EPIK Deliberate Digital, a registered U.S. 501(c)(3) organization, so donations are tax-deductible.
- Donations for this fundraiser will only be used for Summit registration fee scholarships and not for any other purpose.
- If fewer than 50 students register, donations will help provide scholarships for adult attendees.
- If we exceed our goal, all proceeds will still go directly toward scholarships for registration fees, and will be distributed at the discretion of Summit organizers.
