I have been very hesitant to start a gofundme, but I need YOUR help. I'm hoping to get enough funds to continue extensive therapy.  My insurance won't cover the intensive and aggressive therapy that is needed. I refuse to give up! Being forced to quit my therapy because I can't afford it is one of my biggest fears. I could use all the help I could get.

October 31st, 2013 was not just another Halloween for myself. While heading back to Oak Hill Hospital (Brooksville, Florida) from my break a vehicle struck me from behind a blow that sent me spinning into a busy intersection. The same car barreled into me three more times and amidst the twisted metal and shattered glass I found myself fighting for my life. I was unable to move from my neck down due to multiple fractures in my spinal cord injury (C4, C5, C6, & C7).

Doctors were quick to conclude that I would likely never have the use of my arms, legs, and torso ever again. I've made progress in my recovery. I'm moving my legs and arms on my own; doing things like swimming, and taking small steps with the assistance of a platform walker. I'm currently working to further my independence and mobility. This event has been entirely life-changing for me, and every day I am striving to improve my health, quality of life, strength, and hopeful recovery from paralysis!

My unwavering faith, supportive family, friends, and therapy team motivate me to continue to work harder! I believe that this obstacle is an opportunity to grow, become stronger and keep on fighting!

ANY amount donated is deeply appreciated. Please share my story! Thank you for your support and generosity! I am forever BLESSED and GRATEFUL .
