David Lang Cancer Treatment

For those of you who don't know, Dave was diagnosed with esophageal cancer back in March. After a few months of not being able to swallow food, he went in to the doctor and got a throat scope done. The scope showed a mass on the lower end of his esophagus and the PET scan showed that it was a cancerous tumor.
Dave's first plan was to try to work Saturdays and Sunday's throughout his treatment since his chemo is Monday's, and radiation is Monday through Friday. he was able to do that for a few weeks, but then the treatments began to catch up with him. Recently he switched down to 1 day a week, but after doing that for one week he decided it wasn't safe for him to be driving truck while undergoing treatment and feeling the way he was. Now he is not working, and Roxie is the only one working. Roxie works part time at UPS and is trying to get as much overtime as possible. Dave will be done with radiation on Tuesday, June 7th, but the chemo will continue until late July, and depending on how things are looking he won't be fully back to work until October. Roxie's insurance covers everything for Dave after the initial $1000, which they have met already. So medical bills isn't the problem, it's everyday expenses since Dave was the one who took home the majority of the income.
