As those of you know I started to get sick with pain in my lower spine and burning in my head. Soon my whole body began to experience burning.   After several trips to the emergency room I ended up being referred to a Neurologist where I was given a full workup. I was diagnosed with CRPS type 1 or Reflex Sypmathetic Dystophy.  I also have small fiber neuropathy. The recommended treatments were Kettamine and or Lidocaine infusion. They did not work on me. I am on a host of medications that barely cut into the pain.  I have lost 50lbs and have gotten much weaker. I have atrophy in both legs and my hands and feet are constantly burning and or numb. I have burning in my face and pain in my spine. Stiffness and lost range of motion in many muscle groups.  Walking presents it's challenges but I do the best I can. Before all of this I was a filmmaker with a bright future as a writer/director and I had just completed my first feature  film. Before that film I made a documentary about a woman who feeds the homeless in Atlantic City and several drug prevention videos for high school and college students across the country. I found a place called the Neurological Relief Center in Arkansas where they have had amazing results putting this horrible disease into remission. Better yet they do this completely in a holistic way therefore medical insurance in my case, Medicare is not accepted.  I have tried everything else and truly believe this is the answer.  Your donation will send me to this place for 10 Weeks where I will undergo treatment and it will pay the cost of treatment and airfare as well as a place to stay during my treatment.  For more information about the disease visit http://www.rsdhope.org/crps-top-15-faqs.html
