PLEASE HELP OUR TEAM GET TO JR OLYMPIC NATIONALS!
Our fledgling team of young track and field stars is doing SO WELL. After being together and practicing for just 1 month and 4 days, our 4 x 400 girls relay team finished in fourth place in the regional qualifiers for the U.S. Junior Olympics! That made them eligible to advance to the National Championships being held in Humble, TX July 21 - 27, 2014. This is where you come in. Will you help these awesome girls, their families, and coaches with travel expenses? Any and every donation is so greatly appreciated!
Other notable team accomplishments since June 9th:
* USATF Jr Olympic District Qualifiers at Litchfield High School: 19 Danbury Flyers participated, 27 medals earned
* New York City Track & Field Invitational at St. John's University: 6 Danbury Flyers participated, 15 medals earned

About The Danbury Youth Track & Field Association (DYTFA): DYTFA was founded by Gail Hill Williams and Greg Williams in 2013. With the assistance and support of Danbury High School's Track & Field coaches, DYTFA is realizing its mission and vision of providing meaningful, challenging experiences for Danbury's middle school-aged children interested in track and field. DYTFA cultivates and encourages younger athletes, making it easy for them to matriculate into a high school track and field team experience. Our team colors are orange and blue-just like the Danbury High School Hatters-but we are the Danbury Flyers. We are a one mission, one sport organization: Be nice. Run like the wind. Let it FLY.
