More information about Literacy Coalition of Kokomo-Howard County, Inc.: We provide instruction and resources for adult students who need help with basic reading, math or language skills. We work with English Language Learners and adults who are preparing to take a high school equivalency test.
Jammie and Clint Walton came Kokomo from northeast Ohio. Jammie has always loved to dance and at 13 began at the Cleveland School of Preforming Arts, studying ballet. She has owned and operated several of her own businesses over the years before moving to Kokomo. She is currently a Zumba instructor at The Refinery and part time activity director at The Wellington, assisted living center.
Clint learned early that he loved taking things apart to see how they worked. He also discovered a love for music. He has worked at FCA the past 25 years and is now a WCM coordinator. As a musician, he has performed in New York, Chicago, Europe, and South Africa. Locally he performed at Anderson with the Gaithers.
