Cyndi Hall is a wife, mom, daughter, sister, and friend to the community in Bluefield,WV. She loves her family, friends, work out buddies, traveling, hiking, and never passes on a good cupcake!
Cyndi has worked hard her entire life to be a role model for her kids! She is one of those people who never asks for anything and is always taking care of everyone which shows the strength of her spirit and commitment to her faith. This page was started from reccommendations of dear friends of the family to let her know they WANT to be a part of her journey by showing their support!
She was diagnosed with amyloidosis, an extremely rare illness that left untreated leads to acute kidney failure and potentially multiple myloma if it spreads to other organs. Cyndi is doing great! On top of working full time and continuing her daily activities she has been a fighter recieving weekly chemotherapy and injections for the past several months. Recently she found out that under the care of Duke University Medical Center's Bone Marrow Transplant Unit she needs a stem cell transplant and a change in therapy for her treatment plan that will require her to stay at Duke for three weeks and require months of healing afterwards.
This page was started because the days ahead are going to be challenging and we want her to know that she is NOT ALONE! The funding for any gracious donations will go towards her medical bills, weekly six hour roundtrip travel costs to appointments, and for living arrangments when she stays at Duke for an extended amount of time for her stem cell transplant in the near future. Any amount helps and even words of encouragement are greatly appreciated! We want Cyndi to see after trying to take care of everyone else there are others who want to return the love she has shared with so many. Each week brings worries of uncertainty but also encouragement of being one step closer to remission. Feel free to share her story, WE LOVE YOU CYNDI!
