Building a Safe Space

It's been a calling to create a space, where people of all walks of life can come and nourish/ grow/ heal themselves in mind, body, spirit and provide means for them to do their "dharma" and pay it forward to others. Sometimes, it's only the better off people who have the resources and make time to focus on their mental, emotional and physical health. Most times, the less well to do who also need it don't, because it is too much of a luxury or even luxurious to entertain the thought of looking into it further. Either way, we all deserve the knowledge we seek and it is a journey - just sometimes we do not know where to start. I keep seeing so many people who just need a clarity, a knowing, an understanding of themselves, and then they're fully empowered to do what they know. 


I'm a bikram teacher and ayurvedic student and having teamed up with other practitioners of the same frequency, we've now worked diligently to get this project rolling.
It's been a long one and half years, we've bought land, done up the design, even gotten charity status, and now bearing the costs ourselves for construction as we move along is getting harder to do alone.  
We've named this place and created a non-profit organisation: Sanctuary on Church St. It'll provide free osteopathy treatments for children, yoga by donation,  workshops from practitioners around the country and overseas, have a communal space for a library of wisdom books and a healthy cafe to nourish your insides. We want to be able to bring other practitioners in one space, all workshops are also by donation, and most importantly, with the running of the business, any profits go into a scholarship fund to kickstart people in their life direction/ redirection where they will pay it forward after. Launch is in August this year, with your help.
