Nelson Commons Community Greenspace

Our Co-operative is creating a greenspace for the whole community! The Nelson Commons Greenspace Project will provide a much-needed outdoor gathering space in downtown Nelson. The total cost of the project is $600,000 including land acquisition. The Kootenay Co-op store and our partners have already contributed over $400,000 toward the project. 

A co-operatively owned downtown park is a very unique feature, and we wanted our members to have the opportunity to be a part of it!
