Connie Fisher's Funeral Expenses

On February 17th at approximately 10:30 pm Connie Fisher started her journey home. She left us way too soon and suddenly after suffering complications from an emergency surgery. She leaves behind two beautiful and awesome children who she loved fiercely and beyond measure. She leaves behind family who loved her dearly. And finally, she leaves behind those of us who loved her as our own.
Connie was a proud member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe and lived in Lawrence, KS. She attended and graduated from Haskell Indian Nations University. If you knew Connie, you knew that she was one of the realest, most generous, funniest, toughest ladies out there. She had way of taking in people who needed friendship/love. She could always make a friend and if you were her friend, you were her friend for life! She loved her kids fiercely!
Connie leaves behind two children, Christopher and Cheyenne. As a single mother, she did everything she could to provide for her children and she had a strong, loving relationship with both of them. She was so incredibly proud of everything they both were accomplishing in their young lives. Her love will see them through this transition they will have to make, learning to live without her.
This fund is being set up to assist in helping her family with funeral expenses and to help provide her children with financial help as they move on to a life without their mom. They have nothing at this point. There is no money in the bank account to help tide them over, there is no insurance money to help pay for their current living expenses, and the family is reeling from this sudden tragedy.
