Pets Haven Community Vet Clinic
Pets Haven Foundation is a registered charity; we are a Pro Life Animal Shelter. We rescue and rehouse abandoned, abused, neglected and stray animals. We believe in giving all animals a second chance at life. We would like to open a Community Veterinary Clinic.
Sadly we see thousands of animals ending up in pounds and shelters due to over population; many people cannot afford basic veterinary costs, which leads to unwanted litters or animals that require various forms of treatment; which is simply not affordable, these animals end up in death row pounds or shelters.
Pets Haven Foundation's Community Vet Clinic will focus on providing low cost veterinary services that benefits the community and individual pet owners long term. These services will include low-cost desexing, vaccinations, micro chipping, flea and worming treatments and dentals. We will provide discounted services to all rescue groups and individuals who are involved within animal welfare.
Pets Haven Foundations Animal Shelter approximately rescues and rehouses 3000 or more animals per year. We currently out-source our veterinary requirements, which cost approximately $30,000 per month. We know by having our own Veterinary clinic, our costs will be heavily reduced, enabling us in saving the lives of more animals. As well as providing affordable treatment for all.
Our clinic will be playing a major role in working towards reducing the number of unwanted and abandoned companion animals in our community by implementing desexing programs.
We plan in having our Community Clinic open 7 days per week with a 24 hour emergency service.
Our main goal is keeping companion pets with their families, reducing euthanasia rates and ensuring the health and wellbeing of all companion pets.
The costs of these are substantial without our own veterinary clinic.
Belfast and his brother Glasgow came into the shelter with severely ulcerated eyes. Both kittens were neglected to the point that their painful condition required an eye to be removed from each kitten.
Our dream is that people do not have to wait until their animals are beyond repair when a low cost community clinic is a viable option.
Please donate, and help this dream become a reality for kittens like Belfast.
Please share our plight in wanting to open our very own Community Veterinary Clinic.
Your donation no matter how big or small will make a difference.
Please share this post and ask your friends to support our dream in really making a difference.
please help save the life of my best friend Staffy Boss
Just donated, a worth cause. Wish the very best of luck for this to succeed
We make a regular weekly donation to pets haven and we feel it's the best donation that we have ever made. Making the difference for animals in need, is the best desicion we have ever made. Keep up the great work that you do pets haven. I hope your dream of your own pet super clinic, becomes a reality.
That is simply amazing! I wish you and the animals that cross your path all the best! We are the voice for these critters... They need us more now than ever before!
Pets Haven work so hard to rehome the amount of animals they do, whilst still paying huge veterinary bills, rent, utilities, rego, food, grooming etc.....by having a veterinary clinic, it can only help to bring down the costs involved, and allow them to save even more animals. Being the smallest shelter in Victoria, with no vet clinic, not owning their own shelter premises and with no government backing or funding, they manage to save almost the same amount of animals a year as the biggest shelter in Victoria. Whilst still maintaining their pro life morals. Pets Haven to me, is leading the way in animal shelters in Australia.
