From Cold Streets to Warm Sheets

Thank you to everyone who supported our campaign. We have surpassed our target and made our donation to Peter McVerry Trust.
We are a Transition Year class from Ardscoil La Salle, Raheny. We are raising money to donate to Fr Peter Mc Verry Trust to try to make a difference to the homelessness problem in Ireland.
To raise awareness and promote this cause we will be taking part in forefits to make sure our efforts are seen and represented by something active.
Each forfeit represents a certain milestone we have reached.
- €50 We will be waxing some of the boys legs in our class.
- €150 Uniform gender swap in our class.
- €250 Head shave.
- €350 Staff wear school uniform in school.
- €450 Teacher vs. TY dodgeball.
- €550 All TYs in pjs for a day.
- €650 Pie throw at teachers, biggest donation gets to throw pie at our principal's face.
- €750 Students do a sleepout in the school.
Peter McVerry Trust is a charity set up by Fr Peter McVerry to reduce homelessness and the harm caused by drug misuse and social disadvantage, all of the money we raise will go towards this charity. The aim is to donate enough money to provide a bed for the night or a hot meal to the people who are in need of it.
