Audio Equipment for 2017!

A huge thank you for everyone who tuned in to Closer To Dog in 2016! We had 12 full length episodes that were downloaded over 1,500 times in 11 countries. 

Now in the podcast world... that is small potatoes but, if you're on this page I hope it's because those episodes helped you learn something new. 

This year I want to publish 50 episodes! And I'd like them to be conversational... so I need more equipment...

The equipment i'm looking for is two more microphones (this will allow for up to three guest to be with me on the show) and the adaptor so that they can be used with my H5 Zoom Recorder - ($220 for all three items).

The second chunk of change is hosting... My website runs on SquareSpace ($144 a year), my audio hosting runs on Litmus ($240 a year). (And I run on Dunkins... har-har).

I'd like to host on SoundCloud as well ($135 a year) but, as you can see this is all a bit costly and without a co-host, or sponsorship, no ones splitting this bill so my aim right now is to try to cover new equipment, web hosting, and audio hosting.

These are all physical / subscription items that would help me focus more on writting, scheduling, and driving to interviews as well as editing, publishing, and advertising the finished products.

I don't like to ask for money because I'd rather people make donations to the NonProfits on my show... But, I want to procude a better show and have already maxed out my "Let me start a Podcast!" Budget at $1,000.
