St. Paul's Home for the Aged is home to over 90 elderly residents of Cincinnati. This project is "about the dignity, safety, and respect of our Residents" in the words of the Mother Superior of the Home, Mother Francis.
The Home is currently undergoing a massive bathhouse renovation, "From Bathhouses to Bathing Suites." The forty year old bathing rooms on all three nursing floors are undergoing a change from large one room corridors with little privacy and no ventilation, into two private bathing areas so that Residents are able to have a more relaxing and dignified bathing experience.
St. Paul's Home has currently raised about $100,000 through the generosity of individual donors as well as a few foundations, but we need your help. The bathing suites should be complete by November and we are still in need of these funds.
The mission of the Little Sisters is to offer the neediest elderly of every race and religion a home where they will be welcomed as Christ, cared for as family and accompanied with dignity until God calls them to himself. The Little Sisters of the Poor is a non-profit organization and the Cincinnati Home relies on donations to continue giving care to the Residents of the Home.
The Little Sisters of the Poor is a special place no matter which Home you enter into. We offer hospitality to all those who enter and here in Cincinnati we are very thankful for the support we currently receive. Without the help of our community we could not provide the level of care that we do to the elderly of our home.
